ABCA Release

The American Baseball Coaches Association once again awarded The College of Wooster baseball team with a 2024-2025 ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award, presented by Sports Attack.
The Scots maintained a 3.0 or above GPA for the 2024-2025 academic year to receive this award for the sixth year in a row. 
The College of Wooster is one of 440 collegiate programs to be presented with the ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award. 
The College of Wooster baseball team adds this award to several other accumulated earlier this year. Devin Anthony, Alex Gerdenich, Ryan Kramer, Colin Leslie, and Leo Widtmann were named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District, and joined several others - Cooper Baer, Ben Carroll, Michael Scarpelli, and Constantine Vernadakis for North Coast Athletic Conference Dr. Gordon Collins Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll. 
The Scots also added 17 members to the record 295 athletes listed on the Athletic Directors Honor Roll for the spring semester. 
The awards presented by the ABCA, including the ABCA/Rawlings All-America Teams, are the nations oldest, founded in 1949. The ABCA awards program also includes the ABCA/Rawlings All-Region Awards, the ABCA/ATEC Regional & National Coaches of the Year and several other major awards such as the ABCA Hall of Fame and the Dave Keilitz Ethics in Coaching Award.
