Ryan Kramer has been tabbed as the Div. III Hitter of the Month for February, as announced by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.
The All-American first baseman's senior year started with a .636/.765/1.545 slash line over four games in February. Kramer clubbed three homers and had 11 RBI during a season-opening three-game series with Oglethorpe University. He went 7-for-11 for the month with eight runs scored and five walks.
Kramer went 3-for-4 with seven RBI, three runs, and two homers in the second game of the Oglethorpe series and reached base safely all five times with two hits and three walks in the series finale. Despite being pitched around, he still managed to get four RBI and hit his third homer of the season in the Oglethorpe finale.
This is Kramer's second recognition from the NCBWA. As a first-year, he was the co-Rookie of the Month for his February play.
Wooster is off to Lafayette, Ind. for four games this week, with two each against Elmhurst University (2-2) and Illinois Institute of Technology (2-1).
