A top-five program time and three event wins for first-year Hayden Price propelled The College of Wooster men's swimming and diving standout to North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week honors, as announced by league headquarters on Tuesday morning.
 
Price won the 100 backstroke (51.32), 200 backstroke (1:57.57), and 400 individual medley (4:20.54) in Saturday's 157-131 win over Grove City College. He left the field in the dust in the 200 backstroke, winning the event by over six seconds.
 
Price's 100 backstroke time is the fifth-fastest in program history and the program's top time since 2021. It currently ranks as the fourth-fastest time within the NCAC this season.
 
Price has won eight events in three collegiate meets.
 
Wooster is at Westminster College for Saturday's 1 p.m. dual meet.
