Four home runs in a week tends to be a near-lock for weekly awards for baseball players, and that is exactly what sophomore second baseman Luke Rizzo did last week. He is this week's North Coast Athletic Conference Hitter of the Week.

Rizzo slashed .778/.833/2.444 and had a 3.277 OPS during a 5-0 week for the Fighting Scots. In three games played, Rizzo was 7-for-9 with eight runs, eight RBI, four homers, and six extra-base hits.

He homered in each game played and had multiple hits in each win. Rizzo started the week going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and a homer in a 14-4 win over La Roche University. On Saturday, he was 3-for-3 with four runs scored, two homers, two RBI, and a double in a 13-3 win over Illinois Institute of Technology and followed that with a 2-for-3 showing with four RBI, two runs scored, his fourth homer of the week, and a triple in an 11-3 rout over Elmhurst University.

Wooster is 9-2 on the year and hosts Allegheny College at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11.
