College of Wooster baseball All-American
Ryan Kramer is part of the inaugural Small College Baseball Player of the Year Watch List.
Kramer earned his spot on the list with a hot start to 2026. The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Div. III Hitter of the Month for February is batting .636 (7-for-11) on the season with 11 RBI, eight runs scored, five walks, and three homers.
Kramer is looking to be the storied program's latest two-time All-American. He earned All-America honors as a sophomore and was first-team all-region by both the American Baseball Coaches Association and D3baseball.com. That year, Kramer earned first-team All-North Coast Athletic Conference honors after leading the conference in average (.437, 55-for-126), home runs per game (0.32), RBI per game (1.71), and slugging percentage. Kramer ranked 21st nationally in average, sixth in RBI per game, and 14th nationally in slugging during his sophomore year.
Last spring, Kramer earned all-region honors for the second time and became a two-time All-NCAC pick. Kramer led the Scots in nearly every offensive category, including average (.376), at-bats (178), hits (67), doubles (16), home runs (10), and slugging percentage (.669).
The Small College Baseball Player of the Year award was announced on January 29. It is modeled after the Golden Spikes award, which goes to the best Div. I baseball player. The Small College Baseball Player of the Year covers NCAA Div. II and III, NAIA, and junior college programs. Fifty-five players are on the watch list – 10 each from Div. II, Div. III, and NAIA, and 35 junior college players.
