Senior Evie Sanford of The College of Wooster women's indoor track and field team was recently named All-Region by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

The top-8 individuals in each event from each region were recognized with the honor. Sanford was ranked fourth in the region in the shot put after a season-best throw of 43 feet, five inches at the North Coast Athletic Conference Indoor Championships.

Sanford, a three-time NCAC indoor champion in the shot put, is now a two-time All-Region selection in the indoor shot put after earning it previously in 2024. Her best throw put her 40th amongst Division III throwers this year.
