College of Wooster men's lacrosse sophomore
Domenic Cuda collected his third United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Team of the Week honor on Wednesday morning.
Cuda averaged eight groundballs and five caused turnovers against Elmhurst University and DePauw University last week. In doing so, Cuda surpassed 100 caused turnovers for his career. He had 11 groundballs and four caused turnovers in the 13-3 North Coast Athletic Conference victory over DePauw on Saturday. Cuda added five groundballs and six caused turnovers in midweek action against Elmhurst.
Cuda continues to lead Div. III in caused turnovers per game with 5.5. He is in the top-25 nationally in groundballs per game, averaging 8.55. As a team, Wooster is fourth nationally in caused turnovers per game and 22nd in groundballs per game.
Wooster (8-3, 2-0 NCAC) is idle until a 7 p.m. home game on Wednesday, April 8 against Ohio Wesleyan University (3-5, 1-1 NCAC).
