Domenic Cuda, who is in line to set a NCAA all-divisions record upon the conclusion of the NCAA Div. I, Div. II, and Div. III national championships, has been named an honorable mention All-American by USA Lacrosse Magazine. Cuda is the lone North Coast Athletic Conference player on this year's All-America squad.
Cuda, an All-NCAC selection for the second time, leads Div. III in caused turnovers per game at 5.17 and is projected to finish as the NCAA Div. III statistical champion. Cuda's 5.17 caused turnovers per game ranks higher than any other year-end average within all divisions of NCAA men's lacrosse. Cuda broke NCAC and Wooster single-season records with 93 caused turnovers this spring, a count tied for the second-most in Div. III history. He was a regular on the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Team of the Week, earning the weekly honor four times this spring.
At the start of the year, Cuda matched the program's single-game record with 12 caused turnovers against Adrian College and had four games with at least seven caused turnovers. He also had 137 groundballs, the second-most in single-season program history.
Wooster went 12-6 this spring, which included a program-best 6-2 mark in NCAC play. Wooster earned a share of this year's NCAC title, a first for the program since 2004.
