The College of Wooster men's lacrosse team was recognized by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association with the Academic Team Award. To win this award, the team must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0, which the Fighting Scots have done for four straight seasons. Additionally,
Lane Kellogg was named a 2026 USILA Div. III Scholar All-American.
This is not the first academic award the men's lacrosse team has won, as earlier this summer 11 student-athletes were recognized on the North Coast Athletic Conference Dr. Gordon Collins Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll and 20 on the spring semester Athletic Director's Honor Roll. In addition,
Domenic Cuda,
John Allen Ginder,
Sam Green, and Kellogg were named Academic All-District® by College Sports Communicators, with Cuda, Kellogg, and
Jack Holub earning All-America honors from the USILA.
Men's lacrosse went 12-6 this spring and earned a share of the NCAC title for its first conference championship since 2004.
