The College of Wooster men's golf team could not make up the ground it needed to on Sunday and capped the year with an eighth-place finish at the North Coast Athletic Conference Championship, which wrapped up at the par-72, 6,896-yard Avalon Golf and Country Club's Avalon Lakes course. Wooster shot a 316 on Sunday to finish at 952.

Two holes prior, Towns was spot on with a close birdie conversion on the 180-yard 16th hole.Â
