College of Wooster women's lacrosse All-American
Lizzie Hardy was selected for Saturday's Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Senior All-Star Game and was part of the Div. III white team on Saturday.
Hardy earned All-America honors from USA Lacrosse Magazine after leading Wooster to a 17-3 record and a return trip to the NCAA Div. III Championship. There, Hardy and Wooster defeated Farmingdale State College 16-8 to win its first-round game for the second time in program history. Wooster matched its program record with a 17-win spring.
The NCAC Midfielder of the Year graduated as the program's all-time leader with 411 draw controls. She had a record 132 draw controls as a senior. As a team, Wooster had the third-most draw controls per game in Div. III this spring and had a team win percentage in the top-20 nationally.
Offensively, Hardy ranked third on the team with 58 goals and second with 74 points. She helped the team finish third nationally in scoring at 17.3 goals per game.
