The College of Wooster's Evan Hasenkampf earned North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week honors for his standout performance at the College Swimming Coaches Association of America College National Open Water Championship on Saturday.

Hasenkampf led the Fighting Scots' trio in the event with a time of 59:01.2. Hasenkampf placed 58th overall and had the second-best time among Div. III entries.

Hasenkampf is the second Wooster first-year to earn NCAC Athlete of the Week laurels this season. He joins classmate Hayden Price, who was selected following the dual meet against Grove City College.
