Q: What does being a Fighting Scot student-athlete mean to you?
A: It means being part of a community that supports one another
Q: What are some of your favorite memories as a student at The College of Wooster?
A: My favorite memory is studying abroad in Spain.
Q: What is the best part about being a student-athlete at The College of Wooster?
A: The best part is the support you receive to be the best student, athlete, and person you can be.
Q: What else were you involved with on campus besides your sport?
A: I am involved with Model UN.
Q: Tell us a bit about your Independent Study project?
A: My Independent Study examines how political rhetoric that others immigrant populations through criminalization, massification, essentialization, or dehumanization shapes how Americans perceive immigrants' deservingness for government welfare. Using an experimental design, I tested how these frames triggered anxiety and influenced support for welfare and immigration policies.
Q: Tell us a bit about something cool you did as a student at The College of Wooster?
A: I studied abroad in Spain as a junior with SIT Seville. I completed an Independent Study project with a local mentor and interviewed Spanish professionals which lent itself to be enriching experience as well as help me prepare for my I.S. here at Wooster.
Q: Reflecting back on your time at Wooster, what advice would you give your first-year self?
A: Enjoy the moment and love your people.
