Lucy Carlin posted a pair of shutouts last week for The College of Wooster women's soccer team and earned herself North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week honors.
Carlin now has a conference-leading five solo shutouts on the year after a midweek 0-0 result against Ohio Northern University and a 2-0 win over Ohio Wesleyan University, which was the team's first NCAC contest of the year on Saturday.
Carlin posted a season-high seven saves against the Polar Bears and followed with another six against the Battling Bishops. After splitting time during last week's 8-0 win over Muskingum, Carlin is on a streak of more than 260 minutes in goal without allowing a score.
On the year, Carlin has posted 0.92 goals against average with 43 saves and a 6-3-2 record. Her .811 save percentage is second in the NCAC and her 3.91 saves per game is first.
Wooster (6-3-2, 1-0 NCAC) hosts Oberlin College (3-4-2, 0-0-1 NCAC) in a return to conference play at Carl Dale Field on Tuesday.
