Sophomore
Domenic Cuda is back on the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association's Team of the Week after a monster week on the defensive end.
Â
Cuda totaled 15 groundballs, 14 caused turnovers, and two assists in a pair of games last week for the Fighting Scots. He had seven caused turnovers against Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association favorite Hope College, a day removed from causing seven at Calvin University on Friday.
Â
Through games played March 10, Cuda is tops nationally with 6.33 caused turnovers per game and has Wooster ranked within Div. III's top-10. He is one of just 18 players nationally averaging over 10 groundballs per game.
Â
Cuda's 39 caused turnovers through six games are three shy of the 42 he caused across 14 games as a first-year. Earlier this season, he tied the program's single-game record with 12 caused turnovers against Adrial College.
Â
Wooster (4-2) returns to action against the University of Massachusetts Boston on Sunday, March 15. The game takes place at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas at 4 p.m. ET/3 p.m. CT.
