Q: Why did you choose to attend The College of Wooster?
A: I loved the feel of the campus and the buildings. All the people I met are amazing and continue to be amazing.

Q: What does being a Fighting Scot student-athlete mean to you?
A: Being a Fighting Scot student-athlete means having a built-in community on campus with my teammates and other student-athletes. It means constantly having each other's backs on and off the field.

Q: What are some of your favorite memories as a student at The College of Wooster?
A: Some of my favorite memories as a student at Wooster include taking part in the many activities that the College has to offer. Some standout activities I can think of are intramural athletics, air hockey in the Alley, Zumba, and ice skating. There are so many activities that can be found around campus every day if you are open to new experiences.

Q: What is the best part about being a student-athlete at The College of Wooster?
A: The best part about being a student-athlete at Wooster is the people. All of the positive experiences I have had on campus are due to the people I enjoy them with.

Q: What else were you involved with on campus besides your sport?
A: I lived in a service house for two years. I volunteered at the organization affiliated with my house for two hours a week. I took part in many of the intramural sports offered by the College, like cornhole and basketball. I also worked at the Scot Center desks and in game operations.

Q: Which College of Wooster faculty or staff member has made the greatest impact on you and why?
A: Coach Victoria Rumph has made the greatest impact on me by facilitating some of the best experiences I have had during my four years here. She always works incredibly hard to ensure we are able to make the most of our college experience and works to give us opportunities like going to Spain and playing the Ukrainian National Team.

Q: What other people or resources impacted your Wooster experience in a positive way and how did these people and resources set you up to be successful at Wooster?
A: My advisor, Dr. Greg Wiles, has been so helpful in helping me navigate my senior year and looking forward to my professional career. He provided me with the opportunity to do research in Alaska and has opened the door to many connections and resources throughout the past couple years.

Q: Tell us a bit about your Independent Study project?
A: I am creating a reconstruction of historical Lake Michigan-Huron water levels based on tree rings from Alaska. I had the opportunity to present my research at the Geological Society of America conference in San Antonio.

Q: Tell us a bit about something cool you did as a student at The College of Wooster?
A: I had the opportunity to go to Alaska as part of the Keck Geology Consortium prior to my senior year. This consortium is hosted by Wooster. I had the opportunity to fly in a seaplane and visit islands in the Gulf of Alaska while doing tree ring research.

Q: Reflecting back on your time at Wooster, what advice would you give your first-year self?
A: I would tell my first-year self to take any and all opportunities that are offered to me throughout my four years at Wooster because it goes by quick.
