A record- and milestone-filled week netted College of Wooster women's lacrosse senior midfielder
Lizzie Hardy her fourth North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week award on Tuesday.
Hardy averaged 7.0 draw controls, 4.3 groundballs, and 3.7 goals during a 3-0 week for the Fighting Scots. She became Wooster's all-time leader in draw controls in Wednesday's 19-5 win over Baldwin Wallace University. Hardy scored her 100th collegiate goal in Sunday's 18-8 win at Centre University.
Hardy had 10 draw controls in the win at Centre and scooped up eight groundballs against Baldwin Wallace.
This is Hardy's third NCAC Athlete of the Week award for lacrosse. She was a two-time selection as a sophomore, a year in which she earned Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association All-Great Lakes Region honors. Her fourth honor came in field hockey.
Wooster, off to a 5-0 start, returns to action at Southwestern University on Sunday, March 15. Opening draw is set for 1 p.m. ET/12 p.m. CT.
