The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association has named 11 Teams of the Week this spring for NCAA Div. III, and College of Wooster men's lacrosse sophomore
Domenic Cuda made four of them. The final weekly honor for this spring was announced by the organization on Tuesday.
Cuda recorded 12 groundballs and eight caused turnovers in wins over John Carroll University (11-10) and Kenyon College (13-6) last week. With his five caused turnovers against Kenyon, he broke the North Coast Athletic Conference and Wooster single-season records, and his 89 are the third-most in Div. III history.
Cuda and Wooster earned a share of this spring's NCAC title with the 13-6 win over Kenyon on Saturday. The NCAC championship is the program's second and first since 2004.
Wooster (12-5, 6-2 NCAC), seeded fourth for this week's NCAC Tournament, is at top-seeded Oberlin College (11-5, 6-2 NCAC) for Wednesday's 7 p.m. semifinal. The Yeomen emerged as the top seed from the NCAC's historic five-way tie for first via preestablished conference tiebreakers.
