| Box Score 2 MEADVILLE, Pa. – The College of Wooster men's tennis team and a collective of others traveled to Allegheny College to compete in its invitational this weekend.

Some doubles matches were completed after rain washed out most of the competition on Saturday, while Sunday matches went strong until an evening thunderstorm rolled through.
Wooster had four singles wins, all of which came from newcomers to the program.

Sammy Jang collected two of those wins. He defeated Pablo Mesa del Prado from Juniata College in a clean 6-0 result, and defeated Washington and Jefferson's Caden Smith, 6-1, 6-4.

Thomas Ishikawa won 6-2, 6-4 over Jonah Jasek from Washington and Jefferson, and Martin Hauschild took a 6-1, 6-3 win over Allegheny's Siddarth Ramineni.
In doubles play, the Scots, collectively, won six matches.

Andrew Wissman and Ishikawa won two of those matches with a 6-2 win over Juniata College's Stefan Gerin and Romain Moradpour and a 6-3 win over Tiffin University's Sean Brown and Caden Elchert.

Two more wins came against Tiffin with Wissman teaming with Bennett Dickerson for a 6-4 win, and Dickerson teaming with Ian Royse for a 6-3 win.

First-years Santiago Medina and Hauschild took a 6-3 win over Zain Makada and Rowan Ing from Oberlin, and Jack Currie-Welch and Max Stratford won 6-2 over the Baldwin Wallace duo of Sam Dalessandro and Parker Campbell.

Senior Anthony VanOyen teamed with the first-year Hauschild as well and lost a nailbiter to Tiffin's Marlon Huber and Jose Pinto, 7-6 (5).

Next, Wooster will compete in the ITA Regional Tournament at Wabash College from Oct. 2-3.
