Sophomore Josie Bencic earned her second North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week honors after leading The College of Wooster women's soccer team to a pair of wins last week.

Most recently, Bencic was involved in all three goals in Wooster's 3-1 win over DePauw University on Saturday. Bencic opened scoring in the 17th minute, assisted on the game winner in the second half and lastly, scored in the 88th minute to seal the victory.

On Wednesday, Bencic scored the latter of two, consecutive second half goals to help Wooster to a 2-0 win over Wittenberg University. Annie Henegar scored less than a minute into the final 45 minutes, and Bencic followed up with a score about three minutes later.

Bencic's six goals this season leads the team and puts her tied for third amongst the conference. Wooster (10-3-2, 2-2-1 NCAC) has two NCAC regular season games left on its schedule, including a trip to Oberlin College tonight.
