Senior Lizzie Hardy's game-winner in Saturday's 2-1 win over Oberlin College garnered North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week honors on Tuesday.

Hardy scored with 8:10 remaining in regulation to break Saturday's 1-1 tie. On the goal, Hardy knocked in a ball deflected towards the top of the circle by a Yeowomen defender for her third goal of the season.

This is Hardy's third NCAC Athlete of the Week award. The other two came during the 2024 lacrosse season.

Wooster (2-2, 2-0 NCAC) hosts Denison University (2-5, 1-0 NCAC) at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday at John P. Papp Stadium to cap its season-opening five-game homestand.
